The only steep descent today
The view from the B&BGreat weather again today (with more forecast for the next few days) - Nothing spectacular in the way of scenery but interesting just the same. Only one ascent to Dent Fell with good views out to sea and lovely greenery and hills coming down the other side. There were sheep of all different colour combinations - the white ones with black faces and black legs are the nicest. We had an extra 1.5 mile walk - all uphill - to our B&B but it was worth it - it's not called Ennerdale View without reason. Tomorrow's breakfast in the dining room overlooking green hills and Ennerdale Water will be a delight.
We are having our share of senior moments:
I bought another walking pole thinking I had lost mine when it turned out I had brought Graeme's second pole instead of mine (mine wouldn't fit in the suitcase) but thought it was G's pole. He did not remember that he had still not unpacked his from his suitcase.
Aly and Sue were emptying all their luggage looking for an adaptor plug - it was still in the power point of course!
Today Judy went to take a photo of a cute sheep. She fumbled the camera and dropped into the only water we passed all day - it was in the water for about 30 seconds and sadly no longer works. Maybe it will dry out and work again but looks unlikely.
